Funny story!!!!

So two weeks ago on Friday, as Josh was coming home in the little Geo, he got pulled over because apparently the license plate light was out. He was a little annoyed because he was excited for Friday and thought it was kind of a silly thing to pull someone over for. Anyway, the nice police man just told him that he should get it fixed. Then yesterday (Friday) He got pulled over again! By the same cop! It was the first thing he told me when he walked through the door. I laughed. It was just too funny :) He, however, was not quite ready to laugh about it. We had somewhat of a date planned so he put on his happy face and we went and rented a movie. And we took the Cobalt since the poor Geo has no license plate light. After we picked out the movie we went over and got some Fillibertos. The light turned yellow when we were going through it, so he! sped up a tad. Apparently a cop turned down the street after us because, as we continued down the street Josh all of a sudden says "If this cop pules me over I am going to be really mad." And sure enough, no sooner had he said the words, then we saw the lights in the mirrors.

We pulled over onto a side street, and the police man asks for our documents. We started to think that maybe he thought we ran a red light or something. But as soon as everything checks out he comes back to the car and says that the reason he pulled us over is.......that our LICENSE PLATE LIGHT IS OUT!!! That about did it for me! I burst out laughing!!! The Irony was just too much!! Too much I say! The police man I'm sure was wondering what was so funny, so I mentioned what had happened earlier that night. Both of our cars have no license plate light! While we were driving away Josh mentioned how he just wanted to hurry and get home so that no one else could pull him over, but then he couldn't speed cause he might get pulled over for that! Then we decided that we should just be criminal masterminds and Josh could be the license plate light bandit who would go around taking otherpeoples lisence plate bulbs. We are silly peoples :) But we have fun! Today we have resolved to go and fix both of our bulbs before driving at night again. Josh can laugh about the whole thing now. It took a little time for him to get there :)
