Swimming fun!

The past two Mondays we have been going swimming with my brothers and sisters. It has been lots of fun and I thought I would put up some of the pics. Brent had a hard time at first. He doesn't like to get water in his eyes. But every time we go he has more fun that the previous time. I'm thinking that next summer we should do swimming lessons with him.

Fun with Brent

Brent has taken to climbing on furniture. We are trying to get him to stop but it was so cute I hat to take some pictures.

He climbed up and just layed there and watched TV for a little while. Pummy (the cat) likes to lay there too. Maybe he got the idea from her? who knows. He looks nice and comfy though.

On Sunday we made some cookies and Brent wanted some of the dough so I gave him on of the beaters. He liked that, but then realized that there were two of them. He wanted both of them. He really enjoyed them, but then when he couldn't get any more off of them, handed one to me and said "ya?" (that's what he says when he wants something). And I did it. I dipped it into the cookie dough for him.

Happy Daddy's Day!!

We went to visit both of or dad's on Fathers Day. We gave them some chocolate covered pretzels and grandpa Crockett shared with Brent! He was very happy. To visit Grandpa Turley we had to go to Urgent Care. Carley (my little sister) stepped on a fish hook bad enough that they had to take her there. Not fun. But we still got to see him.

Finger licking good!

It was so cute. There is this little chair at granny's house that Brent likes to carry around and sit in. He walked over, grabbed it and took it over to sit on it backwards in front of grandpa, like he was going to hang out with gramps for a while, like buddies. They really are the best of friends too.

I love Fathers day. Probably because I love the men in my life so much. My dad is one of the best and Josh is such a wonderful father that I couldn't imagine a better one for our children. And I give the credit to his dad since he is such a wonderful example.

Lunch at Native NewYorker

Josh loves the wings at Native New yorker and He hadn't had them in such a long time that we decided to go. We picked up to Aunts on the way there too. Overall it was a fun afternoon. It would have been even better if Brent had gotten a nap that day (he was a little cranky).

Derrick is 4 Months old today!

YAY!!

Today Derrick is 4 months old. He has grown so much in just four months. Its amazing how fast time just flies by. Especially now with two babies. He just learned how to roll over. He is very interested in what is going on around him, and does what he can to see whats going on when he is on his own on his blankey on the floor. Brent loves his little brother. He will sometimes come up to me while I am holding him and try to take him from me. He likes to hold him, but just for a little while. And then sometimes he just tries to take and put him on the floor. Derrick likes to stand with help, and he is very good about tummy time! Brent hated it. D can already lift his head and starts to push up with his arms. Love my boys!
